RØDE Windshield Blimp – Professional Shotgun Mic Windshield & Shock Mount System

The RØDE Windshield Blimp is the ultimate all-in-one windshield and shock mounting solution for professional audio recording. Compatible with RØDE shotgun microphones and third-party shotgun mics up to 325mm in length, this system delivers broadcast-quality sound in any environment.

At its core is a Rycote® Lyre® suspension system that provides superior isolation from handling noise and vibration — ensuring clean, interference-free audio whether on set or in the field. The ultra-lightweight, ergonomic handle makes extended use comfortable, while a heavy-duty Mogami® cable housed inside the grip splits via a junction box into a flexible thin internal cable, further minimizing vibration transference to the microphone.

Mounting is effortless with a standard 3/8-inch thread attachment compatible with any boompole. For boom-only use, the optional Universal Blimp Mount allows handle-free operation. The package includes the Dead Wombat windshield, caring brush, and tail/patch cable — everything needed for a complete professional recording setup right out of the box.
